School group visits to the
Small Breeds Farm Park

  A fantastic & informative place.

School group visits to the Small Breeds Farm Park

The success of a group visit is not dependent on the weather. During the winter and on very wet days all our animals are displayed undercover. This creates a more comfortable and intimate environment in which to interact with all the animals

Our aim has been to create and develop a safe environment in which to explore and interact with the animals. We also have an education/picnic room for your exclusive use.

For your safety and comfort we limit the amount of childrens groups on any one day which is why booking is essential.

Before your visit we strongly advise that you read the Farming and Countryside Education Guide - 'Advice to teachers and others who organise visits for children'. This does not take the place of a risk assessment, we would therefore expect the group leader to make a free visit in order to conduct a risk assessment specific to their needs.

We offer discounts for pre-booked groups during term time only:

  • Discount for groups of school children, the price is £7.00 per child
  • One adult comes free for each 10 paying children
  • Additional adults (over the one free per 10) are charged at £10 per adult.

Shopping: we stock a range of pocket money priced gifts for the children to have a worthwhile shopping experience.

Please telephone on 01544 231109 in order to:

  • Check availability
  • Share any special requirements you may have

We will need:

  • A completed booking form
  • Payment can be made on or before the day of your visit in cash, by BACs, or Debit Card or by invoice to be paid within 14 days of your visit.

Anyone who likes goats will almost certainly want to feed the pygmies, which are, possibly, the cutest animals in the world.
